Cauliflower Slows Thyroid Function
Cauliflower is part of the cruciferous family and is also known as a goitrogen.
Goitrogens can have the ability to block iodine getting to the thyroid. Like anything we should always test these theories or facts on ourselves to find out how it affects us individually.
The goitrogenic compounds are reduced when cooked but not completely removed, so again, test it.
If symptoms are still an issue and you eat yummy cauliflower every day then maybe remove it for a month and see how you feel. It may just be the missing link!
